Each year, I volunteer to design the End of Year Newsletter for Trinity Yard School, an NGO school in Ghana that makes a significant impact on its community. This newsletter is a comprehensive report that informs donors and friends about the school’s accomplishments and activities throughout the year. I build it in three different formats: a Mailchimp newsletter for email distribution, a PDF that can be shared electronically or printed, and a full webpage. I designed a trifold brochure for Nirmana R\u00e9flexologie, a new Swiss reflexology practice. The brochure features a minimal, modern design with dimension layering and isolated overlapping images. Large, stacked titles highlight the benefits of reflexology, providing a succinct and impactful overview. A portrait of the practitioner is included, along with their website and contact information, ensuring potential clients can easily reach out. The brochure prominently features the Nirmana R\u00e9flexologie logo, with a subtle background texture adding to the clean and professional aesthetic. For the gallery opening of fine artist Rory Jackson at the Edinburgh Gallery in Bermuda, I designed an invitation that aligns with a gallery’s minimalistic aesthetic. The design features a single, clear color image of one of Rory Jackson’s stunning landscape paintings. The title of the show, “Relentless Beauty,” is prominently displayed, along with a clean and simple layout for the event details, including the gallery address, dates, and other pertinent information. I designed this label for Valley Clayplain Forest Farm’s dried Shiitake mushrooms, a product they grow, dry, and sell at farmers markets. The hand-drawn image of Shiitake mushrooms in a simple, colored pencil minimal style captures the homegrown, rustic, and earthy feel of their brand. The label includes a small text block explaining their holistic forest management practices, along with two blank fields for package date and weight, which can be filled out by hand.
