A good logo is not about what you like or dislike ascetically, it is about what gives your Brand its Identity. A logo is not about communicating what your business does. It is about identification. Your Logo is what makes you stand out and be recognized.

2. Industry, niche and audience research
Taking my new knowledge from your answers I dive deeper into understanding the macro environment of your industry and the micro environment of your nieche and target audience.
3. Draft three to four logo concepts
Taking this information I draft 3-4 logo concepts. You choose one to take us in a specific direction. The chosen concept becomes a touchstone of influence to bring about the final design.
I either work with a pencil and paper or an iPad and an Apple pencil, so I freely draw without any limits in this first stage. This aims for a conceptual design rather than anything refined. The owners of Glory chose the third one. This one, being overly complicated, required considerably more refining.
4. Refining the choosen logo concept
I work with pencil and paper, freely drawing without any limits aiming for a conceptual design rather than anything refined. The owners of Glory choose the third one. This one being overly complicated required considerably more refining.
The refining process can take a lot of iterations to find the final logo which works for all its versatile applications and branding appeal. After many iterations and trying it in various applications The client and I agreed on the logo far right.
5. Logo Color and Font
The clients had several ideas on colors they wanted and left it up to me to pick some fonts for them to choose from. After seeing the various color options they had chosen, they settled on the right hand one.
6. Creation of logo variation files
Once the Logo color and font have been decided, I go on to make the client a folder containing all the final logo files. These nested folders and files are all well labeled. The nested folders contain all the variations in the various styles as seen in the Logo Map below (which I also include to help the client navigate the folders / files). Before the client recieves the final files I require the second half of the total cost.
7. Logo Banners and Extras
As a bonus I include two logo mockup type images (banners, hero / instagram images etc.) which can be specified by the client. Addisional mockups and social media images can be purchased on request. The Client has 1 month after recieving the final files to ask for any addisonal file formats needed.
